....... Two books of Curtis Neeley's figurenude art. These are the product of over eighteen years of photographing the human figure. Figurenude and Smaller Figurenude
Photographs have photos of a United States Marine corporal that Curtis photographed nude in 1991 and 1992.
........"They both have a person Curtis photographed in her late teens, prior to her first marriage and daughter, through her early thirties as well as the morning her daughter was born. One spread has the first and the last figurenude image Curtis will ever take of her. She was the last person Curtis shot before his life altering car wreck and the first person he shot afterwards.
........Every page of Figurenude with an entire photo is worthy of being mounted on a wall.
The printing is that good! One could cut every page out and frame it as artwork. Who would do that?.To reduce that temptation, each Figurenude includes a photo of choice from within the book printed as large as possible on 16x20 paper.
The book is signed, numbered, and guaranteed! . Figurenude a very limited edition. Curtis did a smaller 8x10 book that is available for a much lower cost that is unsigned from Blurb. It is also available as a signed limited edition for $233. It is quite a reasonable value for collectors. It is limited to 10,230 As of 2008 there are 9,207 remaining. That is less than the first SUMO that Taschen did by Helmut Newton and originally sold for $1000. They just released their Smaller SUMO. Unlike either version of SUMO, each of these signed, limited edition books is signed by the photographer instead of the artist signing pages that are then bound into a book. It is also actually limited to 1023. Every Figurenude is guaranteed. The Curtis Neeley Foundation will never re-issue the book unlike SUMO, which of-course is an edition that is limited to the number that they can sell.

The quality is much less than the size the press quality file! It will not look as intended and printing it will waste your ink! Please only look.

Figurenude does not come with a stand like SUMO. It does not need one. It has less than five images that have ever been published. There are no clothed and no paid models. There also is no image that show a stuffed alligator with a nude figure in its mouth like you see in SUMO. The alligator could have been several useful boots.
Figurenude vs SUMO: Figurenude is already a book that is more rare than SUMOis.
The Helmut Newton Foundation, Ms Newton, and the publisher have released an unlimited and more appropriately sized edition to be reprinted. It uses the same photographs EXACTLY and the new release will be signed by the artist in exactly the same way as the last. In other words, he did not sign the first edition of books.
10,000 sixty-six pound books signed one per minute for eight solid hours would take over 20 days. That is right! More than 23.83 days signing one book per minute for eight hours a day without stopping to eat, drink, or urinate.
The statement that Mr Newton signed ten thousand sixty-six pound books at his age is a fraud that even mathematically challenged artists should see through! Artists are often not thought to be the sharpest tools in the shed. Too often we prove it. Please do not think that Curtis is so dull as to believe this ridiculous fraud. Mr Newton may have signed 10,00 signature sheets but never saw most of the books? Curtis thought the personal touch of the artists was the reason for valuing the signed copies?
Mr Newton might have signed a few. (10-20) Those will only be helped by what Curtis says is the revelation of a totally fictitious signed first issue. There is no way Mr Newton signed 10,000 books and Curtis says there were probably never one-fourth that many even produced. Curtis could be wrong.
Curtis offers a guarantee that Figurenude exceeds the SUMO book in image quality as well as production quality. Buy Figurenude and if you find twenty-six out of fifty people chosen randomly who say that SUMO is aesthetically better to view than Figurenude, you will get a refund and fifty dollars when you return Figurenude.
Curtis started Figurenude when he was a physically active US Marine and finished Figurenude as a photographer who is paralyzed mid-back with full use of one arm and with no legs.
It is labeled with the date it was purchased, then it is numbered, signed and fingerprinted. It includes a signed, annotated copy of Smaller Figurenude Photographs as well. Figurenude is shipped with a notarized guarantee in about a month. It is shipped insured and shipping is not included.
Every Figurenude is unique and bears the personal touch of the artist. This is missing on almost all copies SUMO.
The edition may at most be 1023. Curtis will stop signing Figurenude upon death so there may be less than 100 depending on his life span and their popularity. The Curtis Neeley Foundation will never do another run. This is unlike the Helmut Newton Foundation's unlimited limited-edition. It is only limited to what they can sell.
Figurenude is listed through Amazon and SUMO is also. Who would have guessed you can pre-order SUMO? A limited edition, yeah right.
SUMO is only limited to what they can sell.
